Were our campaigns effective?
In 2008 we discovered there was no national database to document crimes of sexual abuse - making it incredibly hard to understand the scale of the problem. By contacting every police force in the UK, we discovered that there were 21,000 child victims last year. So we campaigned to make sure the Home Office centrally records this information - they agreed to do so from April 2011.
